Grays invited back to USBA Camp
11/29/2017

Snow and sleigh bells, yeah right, don’t look now but spring training is just around the corner. And for the second straight year the Minneapolis Grays have been invited to volunteer and help coach at the U.S. Baseball Academy this winter. The largest network of baseball camps in the nation with over 60,000 players and 425 camps across 42 states, the USBA brings the nation’s most popular training program right to your community.

The Minneapolis Grays will be present at the Minneapolis session at De La Salle High School from February 11th – March 18th. The session is headed by Douge Schildgen, Head Coach of De LaSalle High School and former manager of Augsburg College and North Hennepin Community College and assisted by current Highlanders, former professionals and of course your Minneapolis Grays.

The clinic features a low player-coach ratio with each hitter and pitcher gets individual attention in a small group setting. With age-specific sessions, instruction is appropriate for all ability levels. It’s the type of intense, professional, fun instruction that young players don’t normally have access. Instruction is available in hitting, pitching, fielding, base running and catching.

Expert coaches can get you in midseason form while others are gathering winter rust. Registration for the De La Salle session is December 1st, but other sessions around the state are still available. But hurry, these spots fill up quick.
